Engaging Partners, Building Relationships
Delaney, the engagement people, uses proven, international standards in its community and partner engagement work. We follow the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) planning protocol, and apply the IAP2 Core Values to our projects. After 25 years in business, we also have our own best practices when it comes to designing, implementing and reporting on engagement processes.
We use a variety of engagement techniques, and the majority of our projects include both in-person and online approaches. Whenever possible, we seek to engage communities and partners where they are and facilitate participation beyond the squeaky wheels. We ask people how they want to be engaged and we work to balance their preferences with those of the decision maker and the sponsor organization.
